I hope you had wonderful holidays. Two of our three planned family gatherings were postponed: one for COVID, the other for assorted car problems and scheduling issues. So it made for a quiet New Year’s for Mr. Puerto and I. But we’ll catch the rest of the family this month and next and keep celebrating Christmas all winter.
What I’ve Been Writing
I made a big push during December, in between baking cookies and wrapping presents, and yesterday I finished the first draft of The Girl Who Shattered the Sea (Book 3 of the Royal Mages series). I can’t wait for you to read it, as I’m dying to know what you think of the shocking twist I through in a the end.
While I let The Girl Who Shattered the Sea rest for a bit, I’ll turn my attention to The Girl Who Wrote on Water. I’ll be making several editing passes over the next few months. Once I’m happy with it, I’ll send it to my editor and get ready to share it with you.
