A Big Adventure with Little People

This week brought me a new adventure; one I’d never thought I’d experience.

Flying with 11-month old twins.

That’s right, I was helping my young grandsons’ family move halfway across the country. So I flew with the twins, their mother and 4 year old brother.

Contrary to our hope, the twins didn’t sleep on the plane. Contrary to our fears, the twins were easily placated with bottles, watching the other passengers, and pulling my mask off.  And their brother was cooperative to the nth degree, especially when he got a view of the clouds below.

A challenge, but we got through it.

What I’ve Been Writing

I finished the fourth revision of Flicker of the Flame, and it’s off for editing this week. If all goes well, I’ll be publishing it in late January.

So, stay tuned for updates, the cover reveal and more!

And I’ve started the second draft of the third book in the series, Sting of Power.

What I’ve Been Reading

For a change of pace, I picked up a Victorian cozy mystery by Kate Parker. The Royal Assassin features bookseller Georgia Fenchurch, who is also a private investigator for the secret Archivist Society. When an attempt is made on the life of a Russian princess who’s come to England to marry one of the queen’s relatives, Georgia is called in to the case. She soon discovers that someone is planning to turn the wedding into a funeral. Can she figure out who before tragedy strikes?
