“I think the babies are screaming to get out.”
That’s what my four-year-old grandson said about his yet to be born twin brothers, now at 34 weeks.
I suspect their mother shares the sentiment.
While we’re all anxiously waiting to meet these two little boys, all of us know we need to be patient. The babies need every day they can get to gain weight and make sure their lungs work properly.
In short, they need to be fully ready to be born.
Which is a lot like a book.
Someone once told me that writing a book is like making a fine wine. It needs time to mature, to be ready to be released into the world.
And so it is with my own Flight of the Spark. The launch date of December 3 is coming soon, but there’s still much to be done to make sure everything is ready.
Even though part of me is screaming for it to be released.
But like babies, it’s better not to rush. Far better to make sure everything is ready, all the details are right, and the book is truly ready to make its way into the world.
So for the next few weeks I’ll be finishing the last details for launching Flight of the Spark on December 3.
And waiting for the twins!
