Coming in June! My story Death of an Alien will be included in the short fiction anthology, Once Upon a Story.
I was honored to be included. And humbled that my story was chosen to be first in the collection. There is a mix of genres from a talented group of fiction writers. You’ll be sure to find something that you can get lost in.

Congratulations! I enjoyed your “Death of an Alien” — Endorsement: We meet Natalie clutching the wheel of her car straining to see the road as she makes her way through a torrential rainstorm, while escaping the bombing of the University of Pittsburgh. We travel with Natalie on her terrifying drive trying to reach her family in upstate New York where she encounters an alien invader who needs her help. Puerto captures the reader in the terror of the night and through the human choices the main character has to make. I highly recommend this anthology and look forward to reading al the other stories.
