It’s official: The Girl Who Cracked the Sky, the fourth and final book in the Royal Mages Series, is out in the world!

And I have to say, this launch has been incredibly special.

In fact, it has been one of the most successful book launches I’ve ever had—and possibly the most successful. I’m deeply grateful to everyone who has helped make that happen.

Whether you’ve bought the book, preordered it, shared a post, told a friend about the series, or simply followed along with me on this journey, thank you. Every bit of support means more than you know.

And now readers are beginning to finish the book, which is both exciting and a little surreal after spending so many years with these characters.

Some of the first reactions have made my day.

One reader wrote:

“I’m both happy and sad to have finished this story. It’s been such a wonderful ride and I’m sure the characters and their plights will stay with me for a long time.”

And another described the book this way:

“The book itself, it picks up where #3 left off, with our two main characters of the story in very separate locations, at a bit of a loss for next steps, and the threat of Invasion very imminent. What follows is a thrilling conclusion to the series as a whole.”

That last phrase—“a thrilling conclusion to the series as a whole”—is especially meaningful to me.

After four books, countless revisions, and years of imagining this world, I wanted The Girl Who Cracked the Sky to feel like a true culmination of everything that came before it.

Derya’s journey has taken her through magic, danger, political intrigue, romance, and more than a few impossible situations. Now she faces her greatest challenge yet: an evil sorcerer determined to conquer the continent.

Can she succeed?

That’s the question at the heart of the final book.

And while there’s plenty of magic and adventure along the way, what matters most to me is the journey of the characters themselves—the people they’ve become, the choices they make, and what they’re willing to risk for the people and the world they love.

After spending so long writing this series, it’s strange—and wonderful—to finally know that readers are experiencing the ending for themselves.

So thank you for being part of this journey with me.

Thank you for reading.

And most of all, thank you for giving Derya, and the rest of the characters in the Royal Mages Series, a place in your imagination.

The Girl Who Cracked the Sky is finally here.

I hope you enjoy the final adventure as much as I enjoyed writing it.
